owners thereof, and the Board beleiving that the public good requires the laying out of said road,

on motion it was ordered that the prater Of the petitioners be granted and that the right of way
through unpatented government land be taken in accordance With section 2477 of the Revised Statutes
of the U. S. and the line of road prayed for be and is hereby declared a public highway. The clerk
is directed to record the petition plat the road as granted, and notify the Road Overseer of the
proper District to open said road to travel at once.

The Board having carefully considered the report of the viewer§ herein, as well as the objeotions
made therto, and finding the report correct as to form, and believing the public good requires bhe
laying out of said road as recommended by the viewers, it was on motion ordered that the report be
approved and adopted, and the report therein described and recommended by the visrwere be and is
hereby declared a public highway. The clerk is directed to record the report plat the road, draw.
warrants in favor of parties for damages awarded, and cause notices to be posted of opening of said
road, and notify the road Overseer of the proper District.

IN THE MATTER OF INVENTORY OF THE HOSPITALS.

Mrs . Cheeseman appeared before the board and requested
that a n inventory be taken of the Hospitals, and also some one be appointed for that purpose.
Thereupon m0 .tion duly made and unanimously carried W M Boomer was appointed to assist Mrs .
Cheeseman in making a complete inventory of the County and the Greeley Hospital.
1(/ IN THE MAT`lE R OF REDEMPTION OF TAX SALE CER. NO 151 SALES OF 1898.
E P House, having filed his
affidavit showing he was the holder of tax sale eertifieate no 151 sales of 1898, for lots 27 to
it
3; Bloak 3 Evans, that said certificate was distroyed by fire March 16 1907 and still standing on
bhe records is a canud upon the title to said real estate therefore he asks that this board, bp
proper' orderientered of record authorize the County Treasurer of Weld County to issue his redemption
certificate from said sale.
It' further appearing to the Board that E P House having filed his indemnifying bond in the sum
030 .00 to save and keep harmless the said County of Weld from allA o casioned by said redemption with
nut the surrender of said certificate of purshas• it was, 100Rupon motion)ordered that the County
Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized and directed to issue his redemption certificate for said
Real estate from the tax sale aforesaid.
IN THE MATTER OF REDEMPTION CERTIFICATE NO 246 Sales 1899.
E P House having filed his affidavit
showing that he was the purchaser of certificate No. 246 sales of 1899 which certificate was
distroyed by fire March 16 1907 a.:d was redeemed by the owner of the property on April 19 191 .
Wherefore he asks that the Board of County Commissioners by proper ordered entered of reeomd
authorize the County Treasurer of Weld County to deliver to him the cheek for said redemption without
the surrender of said certificate.
It further appearing to the Board th%t the said E P House having filed his indemnifying bond
in the sum of $10.00 to save and keep harmless said Weld County and all its officials occasioned the',
bx it was on motion ordered that the County Treasurer be and he is hereby authorized to deliver
said check to E P without the surrender of the original certificate of purchase .

lowest and best bid received it was on motion ordered that the contract be awarded to H. A. Niles of

It was on motion ordered that Ms contract be awarded to the Pauly Jail Building Co of St .
Louis ' , Mo. for the sums as specified in said proposal. Providing the will file a good and sufficient
Bond in the sum of 05,000.00 to be approved by the Board.

It was on motion ordered that Avalo Precinct No. 17 and Grover Precinct No. 31 shall constitute
and be known as Justice precinct No. 31. and Keota Precinct No. 57 shal be known and constitute
Justice Precinct No. 57 .
1/ It was further Ordered by the Board that Miles M. Mitchell and Burton S Gallegsr be and they
are hereby appointed the the office of Justice and Constable respeotively, in and for Justice

A number of tax payers having requested the County
Commissioners to put in curbing around the Greeley Hospital, and the Board beleiving it to be a
necessary improvement, after due consideration it was on motion oreded that Fob Baab & woodman be
awarded the contract of putting in said curbing at 35 cents per foot.
Justice accounts of Jubtioes Emil B Hatch, T. C. Pressiy and Thos Tregoning, in the cases of
the people vs. Fred Farmer, V. FaRmer, John Brown, Hugh Wright, Charles Myers, Gee Miller, Chancy
Beach, Bill Taylor, JJ H. Darnell and John Rice respectively were presented, examined and on motion
allowed for the amounts stated thereon.
