RE: APPROVE QUOTE FOR TENT RENTALS AT WELD COUNTY FAIR AND AUTHORIZE
CHAIR TO SIGN - BOULDER TENT RENTALS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quote for Tent Rentals at the Weld
County Fair between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of CSU Extension Service of Weld County, and
Boulder Tent Rentals, commencing July 21, 2021, and ending August 3, 2021, with further terms
and conditions being as stated in said quote, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said quote, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Quote for Tent Rentals at the Weld County Fair between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the CSU Extension Service of Weld County, and Boulder Tent Rentals, be,
and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said quote.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 30th day of June, A.D., 2021.

Brief description of the problem/issue:
Boulder Tent rentals are supplying tents to go over our Pig and cattle show rings for the 2021 Fair.
What options exist for the Board? (include consequences, impacts, costs, etc. of options):
The Fair will be paying for both of these tents through sponsorship money.
Recommendation:
Weld County Fair recommends approval of Boulder Tent Company rental contract for 2 tents (See
contract for tent specifics) for during the 2021 Weld County Fair. Agreement has already been
reviewed by legal and was OK with it.
