RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF TINA POWELL AS DIRECTOR OF THE DEPARTMENT
OF PUBLIC SAFETY COMMUNICATIONS FOR WELD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners, after a nationwide recruitment
process, deems it advisable to appoint Tina Powell as the Director of the Department of
Public Safety Communications for Weld County, effective October 27, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tina Powell be, and hereby is, appointed as the Director of the Department
of Public Safety Communications for Weld County, effective October 27, 2021.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 27th day of October, A.D., 2021.
