WHEREAS, heretofore and on July 2, 1969, by Resolution, the
Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, did authorize
the execution of a sanitary land fill contract and agreement with WELD
COUNTY LANDFILL, INC. , whereby Weld County Landfill, Inc. agreed
to provide and operate certain dumps in Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, subsequent thereto, by Resolution, the Board did authorize
the execution of a first amendment and a second amendment to the afore-
mentioned Weld County Landfill, Inc. contract in accordance with all of the
terms and conditions as contained in said first amendment and second amend-
ment thereto and which amendments were made a part thereof by reference,
and
WHEREAS, now Weld County Landfill, Inc. has submitted a request
for an extension of its contract in order for it to obtain the necessary
financing for some new equipment, and
WHEREAS, after an investigation of the facts and circumstances of
the request made by WELD COUNTY LANDFILL, INC. , and for good cause
shown, the Board has determined that it would be in the best interest of the
County to extend the existing contract with WELD COUNTY LANDFILL, INC. ,
including all amendments thereto, from the present expiration date of July
1, 1976 up to and including July 1, 1980.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion d.4. m and

seconded, adopted by the following vote on the3lst day of I , A.D. ,
