COLO. ,,EEit.Ejp13 ay aY, January 12, 1971 Mr. Glenn K. Billings, Chairman Board of County Commissioners Courthouse Greeley, CO 80631 Dear Mr. Billings: Please find enclosed some information on the Fort Lupton Day Care Center that I think you will find informative. We have made several contacts with Mr. Gene Mack of the Fort Lupton Day Care Center in regard to the contract for the 1971 period. It appears that he is having some difficulty in getting cost information to provide us with the necessary figures as agreed upon in the 1970 contract period. I need to discuss this matter with you and the other Board members. My feeling at this time is that we should not have a contract for 1971 but should purchase service from this center on an individual child basis. As you know, the center is licensed under the 1963 Child Care Act. The center has met minimum standards for operation. As soon as additional cost information is available,I will forward this to you for your consideration. Sincerely, Eugene McKenna, Director EMcK:rh enc. cc: Marshall Anderson Harry Ashley C. y S°OE, g 8re Iov[R18 710475 The Fort Lupton Lay Care Center began operation on April 29, 1970, w th 2 children enrolled•I ed and L 2 mare wei:^; added the next (ay.
