HomeMy WebLinkAbout20210173.tiffq� Energy Pars LP NGL Water Solutions DJ, LLC 3773 Cherry Creek North Drive, Suite 1000 Denver, CO 80209 C6 Facility - Commercial Water Wells and Septic Disposal Plan Date: 3/23/'2020 Narrative Introduction In accordance with the Colorado Division of water Resources (DwR) Water Well Construction Rules 2 CCR 402-2 and the weld County Code Ordinance 2017-10, the water wells and the septic disposal system are both necessary features to the C6 Facility. There are two (2) approved and operational commercial water wells present at the C6 Facility that provided necessary drinking and sanitary water. Sanitary wastewater generated from the buildings on the C6 Facility (the bathrooms/sinks from the office, shop, and the solids facility) all connect and empty into the septic system and leach field on the south side of the solids processing facility. Water Well 78801-F The purpose of the commercial water well 78801-F is for the distillation and reverse osmosis plant that produces clean water for operations at the solids processing facility. The water well also provides potable/sanitary water for one toilet and one sink in one of the solids processing buildings. The location of the commercial water well 78801-F is northwest of the loading/unloading pan for the solids processing facility. The DwR approved annual apportionment limit for the well is 22.5 acre-feet per year. The permit was issued on 12/17/2015 with the Construction and Test Report being received/approved on 3/22/2016. The issuance of this permit does not ensure that no injury will occur to another vested water right or preclude another owner of a vested water right from seeking relief in a civil court action. The construction of this well shall be in compliance with the Water Well Construction Rules 2 CCR 402-2, unless approval of a variance has been granted by the State Board of Examiners of Water Well Construction and Pump Installation Contractors in accordance with Rule 18. 3) Approved pursuant to CRS 37-g0-137(4) and the amended findings of the State Engineer dated December 17, 2015 4) Approved for the replacement of an existing well, permit no. 78801-F. Upon completion of the new well, the old well must be plugged .and abandoned in accordance with Rule 10 of the Water Well Construction Rules. A ''well Abandonment Report farm must be submitted within sixty (00) days of abandonment of the old well. 5) The use of ground water from this well is limited to commercial purposes. 0) The pumping rate of this well shall not exceed 10 GPM. 7) The average annual amount of ground water to be appropriated shall not exceed 22.5 acre-feet. 8) Production is limited to the Laramie -Fox Hills aquifer which is located approximately 280 feet below land surface and extends to a depth of approximately 830 feet. Plain casing must be installed and grouted to prevent the withdrawal of ground water from other aquifers and the movement of ground water between aquifers. (NOTE: If coals and/or carbonaceous shales are encountered in the borehole, plain casing and grout should be installed through these intervals to exclude poor quality water from entering the well.) 0) The entire length of the hale shall be geophysically logged as required by Rule g of the Statewide Nontributary Ground Water Rules prior to installing casing, 10) The owner shall mark the well in a conspicuous plane with well permit number(s), name of the aquifer, and court case number(s) as appropriate. The owner shall take necessary means and precautions to preserve these markings, 11) A totalizing flow meter must be installed on this well and maintained in good working order. Permanent records of all diversions must be maintained by the well owner (recorded at least annually) and submitted to the Division Engineer upon request. 12) This replacement well shall not be constructed any closer to any other existing well than the well it is replacing, if such other well is within 500 feet of the replacement is completed in the same aquifer, and is not owned by the applicant. 13} This well shall be constructed not more than 200 feet from the location specified on this permit. NOTE: This permit will expire on the expiration date unless the well is constructed and a pump is installed by that date. A Well Construction and Test Report (GWS-31) and Rump Installation and Test Report (GWS-32) must be submitted to the Division of V'Vater Resources to verify the well has been constructed and the pump has been installed. A buried underground water line goes from the wellhead into the pump house where the untreated groundwater is filtered and conditioned.
