RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE, COZ21-0003, FROM THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT TO THE C-3 (BUSINESS COMMERCIAL) ZONE
DISTRICT - HIGHPOINT OPERATING CORPORATION, C/O JSB INTERESTS, LLLP
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 27th day of
October, 2021, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Highpoint Operating Corporation, 14418 County Road 72, Greeley, Colorado
80634, do JSB Interests, LLLP, 3780 West 10th Street, Unit 200, Greeley, Colorado 80634,
requesting a Change of Zone, COZ21-0003, from the A (Agricultural) Zone District to the
C-3 (Business Commercial) Zone District for a parcel of land located on the following described
real estate, to -wit:
Lot C of Recorded Exemption, RECX13-0066; being
part of the SE1/4 of Section 15, Township 6 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved, and the matter should be continued to November 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., to allow
Highpoint Operating Corporation, do JSB Interests, LLLP, adequate time to finalize
improvements and the Road Maintenance Agreement with county staff.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to November 10,
2021, at 10:00 a.m.
