The proposed name for this USR is Barton Land and Cattle , Inc . The proposed use will be for farming and ranching as well as rodeo events . 2 . To generate income as it relates to the agricultural industry for farming and ranching as well as rodeo . Primarily barrel racing and limited similar equestrian activities ( gymkhana ) 3 . The current use of the land is farming , ranching , and rodeo events . The previous use of the land was ranching and rodeo events . 4 . The proposed use proximity will be no closer than 500 feet to any other residents . 5. The surrounding land use of the proposed site is farming , ranching , and various other agricultural uses . 6 . The hours and days of operation will be Sunday through Monday, 7 AM until 7 PM . 7. There are two full-time employees , 1 rodeo contractor by the name of True West Barrel Racing productions, and our daughter who lives on site . The rodeo contracting company will be present 4-6 weekends out of the year. 8. During the majority of the year, there will be 4-8 people on the site at a time . During rodeo events , in the summer, approximately 4-6 weekends a year, there will be about 50 contestants and 50 spectators at any 1 time . 9 . During the majority of the year, there will be 10- 15 horses on the property at any given time . In the summer months, during rodeo eventing weekends , there will be up to 50 horses at any given time . 10 . There will be haying equipment, a manure truck , tractors, and livestock trailers on the premises throughout the year. There will normally be 6- 10 pieces of equipment at any one time , but will increase during the summer months as livestock trailers come during the day. The livestock trailers that come during the day will not stay overnight. 11 . The current existing structures on the property are as follows : 1 hay storage barn , 4 livestock shelters , 15 fenced corrals , 1 fenced arena , 1 home with attached office and garage , 1 empty commodity shed , as well as a public restroom . No new proposed structures at this time . 12 . Hay will be stored in the hay barn and manure will be spread on other farm ground . 13 . The 2 cubic yard dumpster for trash is removed weekly by Waste Management, Inc. Manure from the pens is removed daily and put into a large pile that is removed monthly. Currently, there is an abandoned mobile home and boat on the northwest side of the property that will be removed properly in the next coming months . Portable toilets , if needed , in the summer months will be maintained weekly by Country Johns and disinfected daily. 14 . There will be no continued construction of this operation . This property had a USR since 1989 that was erroneously vacated in 2019 . 15 . There are no proposed lot surface changes. The existing lot surface type are gravel roadways and parking , a sandy arena , grass, landscaping , dirt , and buildings that sit on approximately 70 acres . Please see map . 16 . Parking is abundant on gravel parking lot. It can accommodate 50-75 trucks and livestock trailers with overflow parking that can fit 20-30 additional livestock trailers and trucks if needed . There are an abundance of handicapped accessible spaces. 17 . There are no new proposed fencing or screening for the site . The current fencing is white vinyl fence around the home , shop , and public restroom . There is piped fence around the arena and pens and there is barb-wired on the boundaries of the property. The hay barn is used for hay storage . 18 . There will be no new proposed landscaping for the site . It will be piled on west end of property until it is loaded into a manure spreader and spread on our neighboring farm ground. All trash will be collected using a 2yd trash dumpster (not visible from the road) and picked up by Waste Management every Wednesday. There will be multiple trash cans located throughout the property on event days. There are no other wastes identified.
