RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF COMMISSIONER MIKE FREEMAN TO CERTAIN
ADVISORY BOARDS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Mike Freeman be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the following boards:
• Criminal Justice Advisory Committee (Alternate Member)
• Federal Mineral Lease Act Board — Term Expires 1/15/2022
• Greeley -Weld County Airport Authority — Term Expires 12/31/2022
• Regional Communications Advisory Board
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner Mike Freeman to said
boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2021, unless otherwise noted above.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Mike Freeman, be, and hereby is, appointed to the above
listed boards, with his terms to expire December 31, 2021, unless otherwise noted above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of January, A.D., 2021, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2021.
