Gentlemen:
Transmitted herewith are:
1. The Regional Transportation District Certification of
Tax Levy, as determined by the District's Treasurer,
of .35 mills for the year 1972 for that portion of Weld
County included in the District, as provided for in
House Bill 1055, passed by the 1970 General Assembly.
2. Regional Transportation District Resolution No. 10,
Series of 1972, adopting the budget for 1973.
3. Regional Transportation District Resolution No. 11,
Series of 1972, appropriating funds for the year 1973.
4. Regional Transportation District Resolution No. 12,
Series of 1972, authorizing the Treasurer of the District
to certify a mill levy.

Resolution No. 10, Series of 1972
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Local Government Budget Law of Colorado, the
Regional Transportation District designated .and appointed its Chairman of the
Budget and Finance Committee to prepare and submit to the District a proposed
budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1973 and ending December 31,
1973; and
WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Regional
Transportation District did prepare a proposed budget and submit same to the
District on July 21, 1972, and the District caused a copy of said budget to be
filed 1n the office of the Regional Transportation District, 56 Steele Street,
Denver, Colorado on July 24, 1972, where same was made available for public
inspection; and
WHEREAS, a notice as to proposed budget was published by the District in
each county within the District, and a public hearing was held on said budget
this 24th day of August, 1972,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proposed Budget for the fiscal
year commencing January 1, 1973 and ending December 31, 1973, attached hereto,
be and it is hereby adopted by the Board of Directors of the Regional
Transportation District as its Budget for the calendar year 1973.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Treasurer of the District cause a certified
copy of said budget to be filed in the office of the Division of Local Govern-
ment, State of Colorado, as required by law.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Regional Transportation
District on the 24th day of August, 1972.

Resolution No. 11, Series of 1972

BE IT RESOLVED that the following sums of money, or as much thereof
as may be needed or deemed necessary to defray all expenses and
liabilities of the Regional Transportation District be and the same are
hereby appropriated for the corporate purposes and objects of the
District hereinafter specified for the fiscal year commencing on the
first day of January, 1973, and ending on the 31st day of December,
1973.

REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT
Resolution No. 12, Series of 1972
BE IT RESOLVED that upon receipt of certifications from the
County Assessors of All of the counties within the Regional
Transportation District and from the City and County of
Denver of the total valuation of assessable property within
the District, the Treasurer of the Regional Transportation
District shall, and he is hereby directed to, certify to the
counties of the District and the City and County of Denver
a mill levy, expressed in hundredths of a mill, which when
multiplied by the said total valuation of assessable property
within the District shall equal the closest amount in excess
of 1,249,938 Dollars, which mill levy be and the same is hereby
fixed as the 1972 rate of levy for the Regional Transportation
District.
Passed and adopted by the Board of Directors of the Regional
Transportation District this 24th day of August, 1972.

CERTIFICATION OF TAX LEVY
T0: County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado
This is to certify that the tax levy to be assessed by
you upon all property in that portion of Weld County included
in the Regional Transportation District for the year 1972 is
.35 mills . The revenue derived from said levy is to be used
for the purpose of paying the expenses of the Regional
Transportation District, and you are hereby authorized and
directed to extend said levy upon your tax list.
This is to further certify that attached hereto are true
and correct copies of Resolutions No. 10, 11 and 12, adopting
the 1973 budget, appropriating these funds , and authorizing
the Treasurer of the District to certify a mill levy.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
the seal of the Regional Transportation District, this 10th
day of October, 1972.
