Acreage Release Request Application (AR -2)
Please be advised that on December 9, 2021, Weld County Public Works, whose address and telephone
number are 1111 H St. P.O. Box 758, Greeley, CO 80632; (970) 400-3722, filed an application for a/an
Acreage Release Request (AR- 2) to M2007038, Fiscus North, which is located approximately 16 miles
North of New Raymer, Section 7, Township 1ON, Range 57W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Weld County.
Requesting a release of 20.1 acres from the permit area. The remaining permit area will be 13.4 acres as
shown on the provided maps for AR2
The application decision is scheduled for February 7, 2022. Written comments or objections to the
application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Eric C. Scott at the Division of
Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303)
866-3567 x 8140.
Comments or objections should be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this notice to be considered in the
application review process. The Division is required to provide a thirty (30) day period following a decision
on the release application to allow for appeals to its decision.
