Dear Mr. Billings :
The X-Ray Department of the hospital has experienced an increasing volume of
work over the past several years; in addition, new techniques and developments
in the practice of medicine , together with the addition of new areas of specialty
practice within the Medical Staff of the hospital have created a situation in
which it is imperative that the hospital increase the capabilities of the X-Ray
Department to handle both the higher volume and newer more complex procedures.
The Board of Trustees respectfully requests the Board of Commissioners to
authorize the issurance of $270,000 in anticipation warrants to finance the
addition of this new equipment. The Board recognizes that repayment of the
warrants together with any interest will be made through revenue generated by
operation of the hospital. Anything you can do to expedite this request will
be most appreciated.
