RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO NORTH FRONT RANGE METROPOLITAN
PLANNING ORGANIZATION - REGULAR AND ALTERNATE MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Commissioner Scott K. James be appointed
to represent the Board of County Commissioners on the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning
Organization as a Regular Member, and that Commissioner Perry L. Buck represent the Board
as an Alternate Member, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Commissioner James to said board
as a Regular member, and Commissioner Buck as an Alternate member, both with terms to expire
December 31, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Commissioner Scott K. James and Commissioner Perry L. Buck, be, and
hereby are, appointed to the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization as a Regular
Member and Alternate Member, respectively, both with terms to expire December 31, 2021.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 4th day of January, A.D., 2021, nunc pro tunc January 1, 2021.
