Dear Mr. Henderson,
As you are aware, Walt Leslie verbally advised Lisa Mansuetti last week to put the Weld County Portable
Site -On -Wheels project on hold. This letter is to formally advise you that the Board of Weld County
Commissioners, upon the advice of staff on August 16, 2021, decided to cancel the Motorola Project # CO -
19I181 A for the Weld County Portable Site -On -Wheels. With the issues associated with the weight of the
equipment and changing requirements for the size of the vehicle to tow the trailer, the project was
re- valuated. The determination was made the potential benefits of the project are not worth the costs
associated with the project. Therefore, Weld County is cancelling the order and will explore other options.
We have also stopped payment on the check issued last week to Motorola for the initial payment for the
project. If you need anything else from Weld County to formally cancel this project order, please let us
know in writing by August 24, 2021.
We hope you understand our position regarding this matter. Weld County appreciates our long-term
relationship with Motorola and looks forward to working with Motorola on future project. If you have
