A public hearing will be held before the Weld County Planning
Commission (PC) and a subsequent hearing will be held with
the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Both hearings
will be held in the Hearing Room, Weld County Administration
Building, 1150 O Street, Greeley, Colorado. Please note the
hearing dates and times listed on the other side of this card for
the proposed project. The Agenda will be posted one week
prior to the hearing.
If you would like more information regarding this proposal and the conditions that must
be met, the file is public information and is available for review at our office. You may

The nature of the hearing is to consider an application for a medium scale solar facility on parcel number

Colorado. According to a Mineral and Royalty Deed, Bur Oak Oil and Gas LLC is the Grantee and
current owner of "ALL" oil, gas and other minerals in 534, T6N, R65W.
The project is called "Longs Peak Community Solar Garden" and I, Kyle Sundman, am the Authorized
Agent acting on behalf of Namaste Solar Electric, Inc, the applicant, and Charles and Debra Bird, the
property owners.
The proposed development is an approximately 18 acre solar energy facility, which will be operational
for 20-30 years from our commercial operation date, which we expect to be early 2022. The system will
then be decommissioned in its entirety and removed, leaving the parcel in functionally the same
condition as it was when we executed the lease.
