RE: APPROVE REAPPOINTMENTS AND APPOINTMENT TO REGIONAL
COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the terms for certain positions will soon expire and a vacancy currently exists
on the Regional Communications Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Matthew Skaggs to said board as the Police Chief At -Large Representative, and Jeremy Young
to said board as the Fire Zone South Representative, both with terms to expire December 31,
2024, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Tina Powell to said board as the
Director of Communications Representative (Standing Position).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Matthew Skaggs and Jeremy Young, be, and hereby are, reappointed to
the Regional Communications Advisory Board, both with terms to expire December 31, 2024, and
that Tina Powell, be, and hereby is, appointed to said board (Standing Position).
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of December, A.D., 2021.
