RE: AUTHORIZING WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ACCEPT SURETY
BOND AND FURTHER. AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY TREASURER
TO ISSUE A DUPLICATE TAX SALE CERTIFICATE.
WHEREAS, Weld County Treasurer, Frances M. Loustalet, has
requested authority to accept a surety bond indemnifying him against loss
by reason of so doing, and to issue a duplicate tax sale certificate No.
128/1962 issued by the Weld County Treasurer to E. C. Pickett a/k/a
Esther C. Pickett in the amount of One Hundred Sixty-One and 59/100
Dollars ($161. 59), dated in 1962, and which certificate has been lost,
misplaced stolen or destroyed, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Treasurer has presented such a Lost
Instrument Bond for the Board's approval and acceptance, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interests of the
County to authorize the County Treasurer to issue a new certificate under
proper circumstances of indemnification of both the Weld County Treasurer
and Weld County, Colorado, and as contained in the aforementioned bond.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer,
Frances M. Loustalet, be and he hereby is authorized to issue a duplicate
tax sale certificate No. 128/1962 to E. C. Pickett,a/k/a Esther C. Pickett
in the amount of One Hundred Sixty-One and 59/100 Dollars ($161. 59), sub-
ject to receiving a penal bond in the sum of Three Hundred Twenty-Three
and 18/100 Dollars ($323. 18) hereinabove referred to, being a proper bond
and in the proper amount as complete indemnification of the Weld County
Treasurer and Weld County, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and

seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27 day of November,
A.D., 1974.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CONDITION OF THIS OBLIGATION IS SUCH, that if the said Principal
shall well and truly indemnify and keep Indemnified the said Obligee from and against any and all
loss, costs and expenses of whatsoever kind or nature by reason of the Obligee issuing duplicate of
the above-described document or paying unto or crediting the account of.the Principal with the value
thereof without said document being presented for cancellation, then this obligation shall be null and
void, otherwise to be and remain in full force and effect.
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that this bond is executed upon the following express conditions:
1. That the Surety shall be liable only for the actual financial loss suffered by the Obligee by
reason of issuing duplicate of the above-described document to the person entitled thereto as shown by
the books of the Obligee or by paying unto or crediting such person's account with the value thereof
and only up to the amount hereof.
2. That the Obligee shall immediately notify the Surety of any claim of ownership or interest in
said original document made by any individual, firm or corporati

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That THE WESTERN CASUALTY AND SURETY COMPANY, of Fort Scott, Kansas, a corporation
of the State of Kansas, having its principal office in the city of Fort Scott, Kansas, pursuant to the following Bylaw, which was adopted by the
Stockholders of the said Company on December 2, 1953, to-wit:
'Section 27. RESIDENT OFFICERS AND ATTORNEYS-IN-FACT. The president, any vice president or the secretary shall have power and
authority to appoint resident vice presidents, resident assistant secretaries and attorneys-in-fact, and to give such appointees full power and au-
thority to make, execute and deliver in the name and on behalf of the corporation, bonds, recognizances, contracts of indemnity and other under-
takings and writings of obligatory nature, and to affix thereto the corporate seal of the corporation. The president, any vice president or the
secretary shall also have power at any time to remove and revoke the authority of any such appointee.'

Fort Scott, State of Kansas, in their own proper persons.
The following Resolution was adopted at the Quarterly Meeting of the Board of Directors of The Western Casualty and Surety Company, held
on the 10th day of November, 1970:
'RESOLVED,That the signatures of officers of the Company and the seal of the Company may be affixed by facsimile to any Power of Attorney
executed in accordance with Section 27 of the Company Bylaws;and that any such Power of Attorney bearing such facsimile signatures, including
the facsimile signature of a certifying Assistant Secretary, and facsimile seal shall be valid and binding upon the Company with respect to any
bond, undertaking or contract of suretyship to which it is attached.'
All authority hereby conferred shall remain in full force and effect until terminated by the Company.
