NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the abovementioned equipment be, and hereby is, declared surplus. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the proposal for the 11th Judicial District Attorney's Office purchase of said equipment in the amount of $6,000.00, be, and hereby is, approved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the authority to sign any necessary transfer documents, be, and hereby is, delegated to the Weld County Controller to sign as the Agent for the Weld County Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado. Staying with prior process of trying to help other governmental agencies when possible, we are asking if you would accept the offer. I am offering $3,000 per car, $6,000 total. As a condition of the purchase the cars will never be sold for more than we purchase them for, and if/when they are sold all law enforcement equipment will be stripped from the vehicle unless the car is sold/donated to another law enforcement agency. If the amounts offered are not enough, please do not hesitate to reach out, as I do have some flexibility in my purchase budget.
