RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND AT WELD COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR
SOUTHWEST SUBSTATION BOOKING UNIT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request that a Change Fund, in the amount of
$500.00 for the Southwest Substation Booking Unit area, be established for the Weld County
Sheriff's Office, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Controller, be, and hereby is, authorized to establish a Change Fund
for the Weld County Sheriff's Office, in the amount of $500.00 for the Southwest Substation
Booking Unit area.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of July, A.D., 2021.

Subject: Cash/Change Box for WCSO Southwest Substation Booking Unit
Barb,
The Weld County Sheriff's Office Booking Unit will regularly take payments for bonds for
the Southwest Substation. To facilitate this, a cash/change box will be necessary to service
customers with cash payments. The Booking Unit is requesting $500.00 in petty cash for
this purpose, to be in place by August 16th 2021.
