Weld County Board of Equalization 2021-2210 ASo t 09 TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I AM WRITING IN APPEAL OF THE PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX VALUATION AND DETERMINATION. WE PURCHASED THIS WASH USED IN SEPTEMBER OF 2017. WE DO NOT HAVE THE ORGINAL VALUE OF THE EQUIPMENT SO I WAS TOLD WE WOULD HAVE TO USE MARKET VALUE. I TALKED TO CAR WASH VENDORS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT THE MARKET VALUE WOULD BE. I WAS TOLD BY THEM TO USE CAR WASH CONSIGNMENT.COM TO FIND THE VALUE. I WENT AND FOUND THE EQUIPMENT OF THE SAME YEAR AND CONDITION AS OUR EQUIPMENT. I THOUGHT OUR EQUIPMENT WAS WELL KEPT SO I WENT WITH THE HIGHER VALUE OF EQUIPMENT INSTEAD OF THE LOWEST THAT I COULD FIND. I PRINTED THAT INFORMATION AND SUBMITTED IT TO YOU IN THE APPEAL. WHERE ARE YOU FINDING YOUR VALUE TO OUR PROPERTY? IT IS SO MUCH DIFFERENT THAN WHAT I CAN FIND. THE NOTICE TO LET YOU KNOW IF ANYTHING HAS CHANGED WITH OUR PERSONAL PROPERTY WAS NEVER RECEIVED ANY OF THESE YEARS. DO YOU HAVE AN EMAIL THAT YOU SENT THEM TO US? THIS WOULD BE USEFUL IN THE FUTURE YEARS FOR THE VALUATION OF THE PERSONAL PROPERTY. MOST YEARS THE EQUIPMENT GOES UNCHANGED AND THE VALUE SHOULD NOT INCREASE. WE WENT FROM A VALUE OF $17,415.00 TO $332,071.00 WHICH WAS APPEALED AND REDUCED TO $103,351.00 WHICH AT THE MOMENT DID NOT KNOW HOW THIS APPEAL PROCESS WORKS AND DID NOT APPEAL AGAIN WHICH WE SHOULD HAVE. THIS YEAR IT WENT FROM $103,351.00 TO $186,132.00. NOTHING AGAIN HAD CHANGED AND THE VALUE OF EQUIPMENT THAT DEPRECIATES WENT UP. WE AGAIN APPEALED AND I AGAIN SUBMITTED A FAIR MARKET VALUE WHICH TOTALED $40,390.00 THE DETERMINATION CAME BACK AT $124,178.00 AN INCREASE OF $21,000.00 FROM THE YEAR BEFORE WHEN ALL THAT WAS SUBMITTED HASN'T CHANGED. I AM AGAIN GOING TO SUBMIT THESE NUMBERS AND VALUATION AND BELIEVE THEM TO BE THE MOST ACCURATE. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHERE YOUR VALUE WAS DETERMINED FROM. WE HAVE THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT: 1994 KARCHER AUTOMATIC WASH $12000.00 KARCHER WASHES ARE RARE AND NOT FOUND ON CONSIGNMENT. THE WASH VENDOR TOLD ME THAT A MARK VII IS THE CLOSEST TO VALUE AND QUALITY AS A KARCHER. YOU WILL FIND THE MARK VII PICTURE ATTACHED. I ALSO COULD NOT FIND A 1994 WASH IN THAT MODEL SO I USED A 2012 MODEL PRICE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS WAY GENEROUS IN VALUE. 2012 AUTOMATIC WASH $12000.00 1995 5 BAY SELF WASH BAY SYSTEM $2000.00 1995 5 BAY SELF WASH BAY TIMER $2000.00 1995 8 SELF VACUUMS $1600.00 2012 SELF SERVE DOG WASH 2012 SECURITY SYSTEM MISC LADDERS DESK AND CHAIR SHELVING 1995 VENDING DISPENSERS (8) $300 EACH BILL CHANGER (2) $1800.00 EACH 1995 AIR COMPRESSOR (2) MISC OFFICE EQUIPMENT TOTAL PERSONAL PROPERTY $4200.00 $200.00 $100.00 $40.00 $50.00 $ 2400.00 $3600.00 $100.00 $100.00 $40390.00 BUY/SELL Automatics Tunnels Sign-up for our mailing list HOME PURCHASING AND SELLING UST EQUIPMENT VIEW RECENT LISTINGS CONTACT LOGIN Dryers Accessories Self Service Home Automatics Mark VII Models Mark VII - Turbojet XT - 2011 Automatics • Mark VII Models Mark VII - Turbojet XT - 2011 Posted: 11/19/2019 $12,000 OBO Product # 2181 • Tri-Foam • On -Board dryers • Have Lots of brand new spare parts including new drive motor • Wash is currently still in use but new one is ordered Condition: Good Location: Montana On 10/09/2019 the equipment performed 44000 car washes search by name or produc ► For inquiries, click here more Mark VII Models listings Carwash Consignment Corpus Christi. You have a right to attend this hearing and present evidence in support of your petition. The Weld County Assessor or his designee will be present. Arbitration Hearing Procedure: Arbitration hearings are held within sixty (60) days from the date the arbitrator is selected, and are set by the arbitrator. Both you and the Board of Equalization are entitled to participate in the hearing. The hearing is informal. The arbitrator has the authority to issue subpoenas for witnesses, books, records documents and other evidence pertaining to the value of the property. The arbitrator also has the authority to administer oaths, and determine all questions of law and fact presented to him. The arbitration hearing may be confidential and closed to the public if you and the Board of Equalization agree. The arbitrator's decision must be delivered personally or by registered mail within ten (10) days of the arbitration hearing. c. Fees and Expenses: The arbitrator's fees and expenses are agreed upon by you and the Board of Equalization. In the case of residential real property, the fees may not exceed $150.00 per case. For cases other than residential real property, the arbitrator's total fees and expenses are agreed to by you and Board of Equalization, but are paid by the parties as ordered by the arbitrator.
