RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT TO WELD COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CDBGAC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County Community Development
Block Grant Advisory Committee (CDBGAC), and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Cheryl Powell to said board as the Municipality Representative from the Town of Milliken, with a
term to expire November 1, 2023.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Cheryl Powell be, and hereby is, appointed to the Weld County Community
Development Block Grant Advisory Committee (CDBGAC), with a term to expire November 1,
2023.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of December, A.D., 2021.
