RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENT TO 911 EMERGENCY
TELEPHONE SERVICE AUTHORITY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist and the term for a certain position on the 911
Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Lieutenant David Hemple to said board as the City of Fort Lupton Appointee, and
Chief David Arnold to said board as the Law Enforcement County Appointee, both with terms to
expire January 10, 2024, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Mike Zeller to said board as the City of Greeley Appointee, with a term to expire January 10, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Lieutenant David Hemple and Chief David Arnold, be, and hereby
are, appointed to the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board, and that Mike Zeller,
be, and hereby is, reappointed to said Board, all with terms to expire January 10, 2024.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of December, A.D., 2021.
