A public hearing was conducted on August 11, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Steve Moreno, Chair
Commissioner Scott K. James, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Perry L. Buck
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Lori Saine
Also present:

Assistant County Attorney, Bob Choate

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated June 24, 2021, and duly published June 27,
2021, in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of
DPOC, LLC, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit,
USR21-0009, for Oil and Gas Support and Service (an office/shop building for an oil and gas
exploration and production business along with outdoor storage of oil and gas production and
exploration equipment) along with a communication tower up to 45 -feet in height and more than
the number of cargo containers allowed by Section 23-3-30 of the Weld County Code (up to 10
cargo containers proposed) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bob Choate, Assistant County
Attorney, made this a matter of record.
IR Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, stated the application was continued at
the Planning Commission hearing, due to the mineral notification requirement. Therefore, he
requested a continuance of the Board of County Commissioner's hearing until September 22,
2021, to allow the applicant adequate time to notify mineral interest owners and present to the
Planning Commission on September 7, 2021.
No public testimony was offered regarding the continuance.

El Commissioner Buck moved to continue the request of DPOC, LLC, for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit, USR21-0009, for Oil and Gas Support and
Service (an office/shop building for an oil and gas exploration and production business along with
outdoor storage of oil and gas production and exploration equipment) along with a communication
tower up to 45 -feet in height and more than the number of cargo containers allowed by
Section 23-3-30 of the Weld County Code (up to 10 cargo containers proposed) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District, to September 22, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., to allow DPOC, LLC,
adequate time to notify mineral interest owners and present to the Planning Commission on
September 7, 2021. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Freeman, and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:02 a.m.
This Certification was approved on the 16th day of August, 2021.
