RE: DELEGATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE DUTY TO CERTIFY MILL LEVIES OF SCHOOLS
AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS IN WELD COUNTY TO WELD COUNTY ASSESSOR
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority provided in C.R.S. 39-1-111(2), the Board of County
Commissioners wishes to delegate the administrative duty to certify mill levies, temporary
property tax credits, and temporary mill levy rate reductions for schools and local governments in
Weld County to the Weld County Assessor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, hereby delegates the administrative duty to certify mill levies, temporary
property tax credits, and temporary mill levy rate reductions for schools and local governments in
Weld County to the Weld County Assessor, effective immediately and continuing until such
delegation is rescinded by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 15th day of December, A.D., 2021.
