RE: APPROVE QUOTE FOR PURCHASE OF DIAGNOSTX REMOTE RECEIVER - LOCUS
DIAGNOSTICS, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quote for the Purchase of a DiagnostX
Remote Receiver between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety
Communications, and Locus Diagnostics, LLC, with further terms and conditions being as stated
in said quote, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said quote, a copy of
which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Quote for the Purchase of a DiagnostX Remote Receiver
between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Safety Communications,
and Locus Diagnostics, LLC, be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 24th day of February, A.D., 2021.

Authorization to purchase a DiagnostX Remote Receiver, as approved in the 2021 9-1-1
capital budget for $37,994.05.
This device is placed at site, that scans all radio's connecting to the sight to evaluate the
performance of the devices connecting to the site. Once identified of an issue, the user
agency is contacted for repair on that device. This equipment detects failures in the
devices prior to failure and identifies immediate issues for resolution prior to the annual
Maintenance performed by the Wireless Shop, thus saving time and resources at annual
maintenance and potential issues in device performance for Public Safety Agencies.
This is a sole source as this device has to work with the DiagnostX MX -3000 that PSW
has currently in use
