Ths a need to conduct a structural assessment on the Chase Building exterior concrete columns. This assessment will include the observation of the tall columns by use of a 60 -foot boom lift by a structural engineer and a written report identifying observed problems and a recommendation for remediation. The assessment has been quoted at $16,250.00 using the fees identified in their bid. Therefore, the Facilities Department is recommending approving this task order in amount of $16,250.00 If you have any questions, please contact me at extension 2023. Any such Task Order shall be signed by the Weld County Facilities Director before it shall be effective. In no event shall the total of all Task Orders exceed $25,000 in any calendar year, unless first approved by the Board of County Commissioners. Any appropriately executed Task Order shall be automatically incorporated herein and enforceable. Scope of Task Order: The scope of work will include preparing a structural assessment report that addresses both the east and west wing buildings and exterior concrete columns. The observation of the tall columns will be by use of a 60 -foot boom lift. The report will include an assessment of the observed problems and recommendation for remediation. RSAP will be responsible for the project management. Contractor agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached Exhibit in accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Original Agreement between the parties. The Galloway is a partner to Design Services agreement that Robert Shreve Architects and Planners has made with Weld County. Galloway propose to prepare a structural assessment report that address both the east and west wings buildings and exterior concrete columns. The observation of the tall columns will be by use of a 60foot boom lift. The report will include an assessment of the observed problems and recommendation for remediation RSAP will be responsible for the project management.
