RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, pursuant to law, the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, is vested with the responsibility of administering
the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the Board that there is a
need to repair the east entrance to the Weld County Courthouse and the
entrance to the north side of the Weld County Jail, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interest of the
County to seek bids for the Board's approval relative to the repair of
the aforementioned entrances to the County Courthouse and to the County
Jail in accordance with submitted specifications that meet and comply
with the City of Greeley, Colorado, building code requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that IVLr. Barton Buss, Chief
Accounting Officer and Purchasing Agent for Weld County, advertise
for bids to repair the aforementioned entrance to the County Courthouse
and to the County Jail in accordance with construction criteria, all as
shown on exhibit attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all bids shall specify that
construction shall be in accordance with specifications as submitted.
BE IT STILL FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it
hereby is authorized to execute an agreement forthwith with the success-
ful bidder for the repairs of the aforementioned entrances to the County
Courthouse and to the County Jail respectively, and that the Board be
authorized to pay therefor immediately upon completion of the work
project.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of June,
A. D. , 1973, nunc pro tunc as of February 28, 1973.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
Sealed proposals will be accepted for repairing the east portico of the Weld
County Courthouse and the entrance on the north side of the Weld County Jail ,
until February 27, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. , at which time said proposals will be
publicly opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent.
Further information may be obtained from the Purchasing Agent at the Weld
County Courthouse.
The Board of Weld County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or
all proposals , to waive any informalities in proposals , and to accept the
proposal that, in the opinion of the Board, is to the best interests of the
Board and of the County of Weld, State of Colorado.
