Bids were received and opened on January 5, 2021 for B2100044 - Public Safety Dell
Storage. Two (2) bids were received ranging from $202,121.00 to $420,946.32.
Attached is the bid tabulation for your information.
The Information Technology staff reviewed all bid responses. Lewan Technology out of
Denver, CO proposed the lowest cost solution of $202,121.00 and meets the needed
functionality documented in the bid process.
The large difference in pricing in the bid submissions is due to extremely large discounts
provided by one reseller while the other provided a small discount to list price.
Information Technology staff has reviewed both responses and confirmed the
equipment in the bid response is identical and meets all bid requirements.
Based on the above information, I recommend the Board award B2100044 - Public
Safety Dell Storage to Lewan Technology, for a total amount of $202,121.00.
