RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT #1 TO BILL OF SALE AGREEMENT FOR WATER SYSTEM
IMPROVEMENTS INSTALLED AT MEAD GRADER SHED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR
TO SIGN - LITTLE THOMPSON WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Amendment #1 to the Bill of Sale
Agreement for the Water System Improvements Installed at the Mead Grader Shed between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, on behalf of the Facilities Department, and the Little Thompson Water District, with further
terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said amendment, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Amendment #1 to the Bill of Sale Agreement for the Water System
Improvements Installed at the Mead Grader Shed between the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Facilities
Department, and the Little Thompson Water District, be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said amendment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 10th day of March, A.D., 2021.

Subject: LTWD Bill of Sale - Amended (2021-0462)
On February 17, 2021, Weld County approved a no -cost bill of sale for the water line to the Little
Thompson Water District. The bill of sale identified the pipe from the tap to the water meter in the
amount of $6,000.00. However, upon further investigation, the bill of sale should have included all of
the following items:

Total
$34,648.00
Therefore, the recommendation is to amend the no -cost bill of sale by listing the items identified above
for a total of $34,648.00 that will be conveyed to the Little Thompson Water District (LTWD) to allow all
future maintenance and repairs to be performed by LTWD.

The undersigned hereby formally transfers and assigns to the Little Thompson Water
District all rights of ownership of the water system improvements installed at
5968 County Road 34, Mead, CO Grantor warrants that all subject
improvements are free and clear of liens and encumbrances.
The water system improvements are more specifically described as follows:
