WELD COUNTY COUNCIL
January 18, 2021
The Weld County Council met in regular session in full conformity with the Weld County Home
Rule Charter at 6:30 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2021, at the Weld County Administration
Building, 1150 0 Street, Greeley, CO.
ROLL CALL:
The meeting was called to order by President Tonya L. Van Beber. Councilmembers Nancy
Teksten, James Welch, Elijah Hatch and Rupert Parchment were present, constituting a
quorum of members. Also present was Council Secretary Linda Kane.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA :
Councilmember Welch made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Councilmember
Teksten and carried.
APPROVAL OF DOCUMENTATION:
Approval of December 21, 2020, Minutes
Councilmember Welch made a motion to approve the December minutes, seconded by
Councilmember Teksten, and the motion carried.
REVIEW PROGRAM:
There was no review program.
PUBLIC COMMENT:
There was no public comment.
NEW BUSINESS:
Selection of New President and Vice -President
Councilmember Teksten made a motion to elect Councilmember Welch President, it was
seconded by Councilmember Parchment and carried. Councilmember Van Beber made a
motion to elect Councilmember Teksten vice-president, it was seconded by Councilmember
Welch and carried.
Set Meeting Dates for 2021
Councilmember Hatch made a motion to set meeting dates as follows, it was seconded by
Councilmember Teksten and carried.
The meeting dates for 2021 are:
2/22; 3/15; 4/19; 5/17; 6/21; 7/19; 8/16; 9/20; 10/18; 11/15; 12/20.
Assign Review Programs
e Councilmember Hatch made a motion to assign review programs as follows in
Addendum 1, it was seconded by Councilmember Parchment and the motion carried.

Coordinator Reports/Councilman Reports
There were no reports.
Bills
Councilmember Van Beber made a motion to approve bills, it was seconded by Councilmember
Hatch and carried. The bills were paid as follows:
o Weld County Phone Bill for December $25.00
o Tribune Legal, 2nd and 3rd quarter Reports to the People: $234.00
OLD BUSINESS:
There was no old business.
ADJOURNMENT:
By acclamation, the meeting was adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
