A public hearing was conducted on September 1, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Steve Moreno, Chair
Commissioner Scott K. James, Chair Pro -Tern
Commissioner Perry L. Buck
Commissioner Mike Freeman
Commissioner Lori Saine
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jess Reid
Assistant County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Services Department representative, Diana Aungst
The following business was transacted:
IR I hereby certify that a public Probable Cause hearing was conducted on July 26, 2021, to
consider setting a Show Cause Hearing to determine whether or not the applicant, Smith Family
Trust and 6 B's Property, LLC, is in compliance with certain Development Standards contained in
Use by Special Review Permit, USR-760, for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use,
or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (wastewater treatment
facility for B&B Smith Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle Park). Bruce Barker, County
Attorney, made this a matter of record. At said hearing, the Board continued the matter to
September 1, 2021, to allow Staff and the property owner time to reach an amicable solution.
le Diana Aungst, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicant has agreed to submit a
Minor Amendment to the USR, to add four (4) semi -trailers; therefore, Staff recommends the
Board dismiss the Probable Cause case.
e Commissioner James moved to dismiss the Probable Cause hearing, PCSC21-0009, for Use
by Special Review Permit, USR-760, for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or
Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (wastewater treatment
facility for B&B Smith Mobile Home and Recreational Vehicle Park), held by Smith Family Trust
and 6 B's Property, LLC. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Saine and it carried
unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 9:44 a.m.
