RESOLUTION RE: SUMMARIZING EXPENDITURES AND REVENUES FOR EACH FUND AND ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF WELD, COLORADO, FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR BEGINNING ON THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY, 2022, AND ENDING ON THE LAST DAY OF DECEMBER, 2022 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld has appointed the Director of Finance and Administration to prepare and submit a proposed budget to said governing body at the proper time, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration has submitted a proposed budget to this governing body for its consideration, and WHEREAS, upon due and proper notice, published or posted in accordance with the law, said proposed budget was open for inspection by the public at a designated place, a public hearing was held on December 15, 2021, and interested taxpayers were given the opportunity to file or register any objections to said proposed budget, and WHEREAS, the Board, in its deliberations on the 2022 Budget, has amended the proposed budget as reflected on the attached exhibits. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the 2022 Budget as submitted, amended, and summarized by fund in Exhibit "A", be, and hereby, is approved and adopted as the budget of the County of Weld for the year stated above.
