W. L. & D. F. ERICKSON FOR A PARCEL
OF LAND FOR ROAD MAINTENANCE BUILDING:
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that a certain lease agreement dated March 24, 1971, between Weld
County and W. L. and D. F. Erickson for a 1 acre parcel of ground to be used
for a maintenance building be and is hereby approved. Said lease agreement
is attached and made a part of this resolution. Said parcel of land is more
particularly described as follows:
A parcel of land located in the South Half (S;) of Section
Twenty-nine (29), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Sixty-
three (63) West of the 6th P. M., Weld County, Colorado
Containing (1) acres more or less, and adjacent to County
Road Number 124.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote:

LEASE
THIS INDENTURE, made this 24th day of March, 1971,
between WILFRED L. ERICKSON and DOROTHY F. ERICKSON, the
Lessors, and WELD COUNTY, COLORADO, the Lessee,
WITNESSETH:
That in consideration of the payment of the rent and the keeping
and performance of the covenants and agreements by the said Lessee
hereinafter set forth, the said Lessors hereby lease unto the said Lessee
the following described premises, situate in the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, to-wit:
A parcel of land located in the South Half (SI) of Section
Twenty-nine (29), Township Eleven (11) North, Range
Sixty-three (63) West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,
Weld County, Colorado, containing approximately one
(1) acre, more or less, and adjacent to County Road
No. 124.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same and any and all appurtenances
unto the said Lessee from twelve o'clock noon of the 24th day of
March, A. D. , 1971, until twelve o'clock noon of the 24th day of
March, A. D. , 1983, at and for a rental, for the full term aforesaid,
of Sixty Dollars ($60. 00), which rental shall be paid in installments as
follows: Five Dollars ($5. 00), being the full rental for the first year
of said term, upon the signing hereof, and Five Dollars ($5. 00) on or
before the 24th day of March of each year thereafter during the full
term of this lease.
Lessee shall have the privilege of erecting a maintenance
building on said plot for use by Lessee for equipment and machinery
and shall have the right at the expiration of this lease to remove said
building.
It is understood and agreed by and between the parties that said
premises are being leased by said Lessee as quarters for its road
maintenance man or men and shall be occupied by any person or
persons so employed at the election of said Lessee and that such
person or persons shall have continuous and uninterrupted right
of access to said property and to make such roads, fills or crossings
as shall be deemed necessary for the purposes of its use.
THIS AGREEMENT shall be binding upon the heirs, adminis-
trators and assigns of said Lessors.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunto set
their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
