• Enclosed herewith find notice of opening public
road along the County line between Section 6, Town-
ship 1 South, Range 67 West, and Section 31 Township
1 -North, Range 67 West. The Commissioners of this
County asked me to notify you of their action in
regard to the establishment of this joint road.
I do not know of any oother person to send the _
notice of 'opening to except yourself. I presume
that you may arrange to have them posted.

NOTICE OF THE
OPENING of PUBLIC ROAD
Notice Is Hereby Given that the County Commissioners of the County of
Weld will in sixty days from aept;cn:Der 11th1 19 3.8 19 the proper
officer to open and work, as a public highway, the road prayed for in a petition
filed at the office of said Commissioners on the 1361E day of izsy
A. D., 19 16 , said road being described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at
Northeast corner of Section 6, �orrrship 1 Sourcn,
nange 67 West and running nest ono mile, the same
being a joint road between i_dams and weld Counties.

And the said Commissioners do hereby declare the said line to be a public
highway from and after said sixty days.

GENTLEMEN:—We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the
public require a County wagon
road to be laid out as follows, to wit: Commencing at

Said road to be not less than sixty (60)feet in width.
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County road as above described,
and we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of
one dollar to us each and severally in hand paid by the said County of Weld
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agree to give
the right of way through our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for

Gentlemen:
The enclosed Road Petition is hereby sent to you for your
action. I understand that Finley and Morgan are the owners of
the land along the South side of 31 , 1 North , 6&' and as you see
they have sidled the within petition, thereby giving the land for
the right-of-way.
A similar petition has been placed in this office giving the
right-of-way along the North side of Section 6, 1 South, 68 and if
your Board concurs in this this Board will grant their portion of
the right-of-way as a Public High liay.
