APPRENTICESHIP WEEK
NOVEMBER 14 - 20, 2022
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners and the Weld County Workforce
Development Board wish to recognize the vital role Registered Apprenticeships provide in
creating opportunities by allowing apprentices to earn while they learn and preparing a
pathway to good, quality jobs; and
WHEREAS, Employment Services of Weld County is committed to advancing Registered
Apprenticeships by collaborating with businesses and educators to develop related training
instruction and on-the-job training opportunities; and
WHEREAS, Employment Services of Weld County empowers job seekers to participate in
employment and training programs to develop a career path toward a bright future; and
WHEREAS, we applaud and appreciate the current 19 Registered Apprenticeship
programs in Weld County for careers such as electronic technician, correction officer and
various roles in the healthcare field.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, by the Board of Weld County Commissioners,
that November 14 — 20, 2022, be known as Apprenticeship Week in Weld County.
