RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Workforce Development Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Maria Silveira as a Business Representative to said board, with a term to expire December 31,
2022, Victoria Cordova as a Business Representative to said board, with a term to expire
December 31, 2023, and Shawn Croissant as a Business Representative to said board, with a
term to expire December 31, 2024.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Maria Silveria, Victoria Cordova, and Shawn Croissant be, and hereby
are, appointed to the Workforce Development Board, with terms ending as stated above.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of February, A.D., 2022.
