We received a total of five of the seven units ordered. The factory has canceled all remaining 2021 and 2022 orders citing supply chain issues. In addition, Jeep Cherokee will be limited to high trim levels in the future. This was discussed at a work session on 11/08/22. The purchase order for these vehicles was issued by the Purchasing Department on 01/31/2021 (P2100097) in the amount of $185,836.00. Fleet Services recommends a change order decreasing the existing PO amount by $53,096.00 resulting in a new PO total of $132,740.00. We will proceed with state bid or other government competitive pricing to supply the remaining vehicles. Hi David: Unfortunately since there has been no Production for nearly a year for Jeep Cherokee as well as no available Government incentives or Price Protection I do not have a solution for your Jeep orders. Factory Fleet has become very 1 rigid and not flexible regarding canceled Government orders policy citing continued supply chain issues. Hi David: Unfortunately I have several of these Jeep orders that do not have production dates including the remaining 2 for you. I inquired to Factory Fleet last week for an update and as of today they do not have one. In conversation with my Govt Rep from the Factory I am currently expecting all of my Jeep Cherokee orders to be cancelled since production for MY 23 Jeep Cherokee will be limited to the high trim levels only. Factory Fleet is not offering any price protection for MY 22 models not built. I am out of town this week visiting family in MN so when I am back in CO late Friday I will look to see if there are any alternative choices available but to be fair I do not expect to find a lot of solutions.
