SUBJECT: B2100017 TWO TON CREW CAB QTY -2
The Fleet Services Department is recommending rescinding bid number B2100017 to Ken Garff
Ford of Greeley CO. The bid was for two 2021 Ford F550 crew cab pickups with service bodies
for a total of $113,816.00. Due to micro chip shortage and other commodity restraints Ford is
unable to build these vehicles. Fleet Services will rebid these vehicles.

WHEELS AND UTILITY BOX (QUANTITY 2), AND WAIVER OF TEN-DAY WAITING
PERIOD FOR CONSIDERATION AND INVESTIGATION - DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS
WH EAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado sta to and the Weld ounty Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering th affairs of W ou y, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, h urch sing Department has requested waiver of the ten-day waiting
period for Emergency id Re est # 0017, 2 -Ton 4x4 Crew Cab with Dual Wheels and Utility
Box (Quantity 2), for th ep rt of P lic Works, due to minimum timeline requirements for
order from selected vend d
WHEREAS, the Boar f Co ty C mmis ioners deems it advisable to waive the ten-day
waiting period for said emergen bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ESOLV b Board of County Commissioners of Weld

The Fleet Services Department has reviewed all bids that were received and
recommends awarding the bid to Spradley Barr Ford of Greeley, as they are the lowest bidder
that meets all specifications. The bid is for two 2021 Ford F 550's. The cost is $56,908.00 each
for a total of $113,816.00.
