RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING CHANGE OF ZONE, COZ21-0004, FROM THE
R-1 (LOW -DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) ZONE DISTRICT TO THE A (AGRICULTURAL)
ZONE DISTRICT - ISAIA AND KRISTA ARICAYOS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 5th day of
January, 2022, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Isaia and Krista Aricayos, 2434 C Street NW, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for a
Change of Zone, COZ21-0004, from the R-1 (Low -Density Residential) Zone District to the
A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot 1 of Subdivision Exemption, SE -1 150; being part
of the SEI/4 SE1/4 of Section 36, Township 6 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to January 26, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., to allow Isaia
and Krista Aricayos adequate time to meet the 30 -day notification requirement for surrounding
mineral owners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to January 26,
2022, at 10:00 a.m.

The applicants Isaia K. and Krista J. Aricayos are requesting a continuance of COZ21-0004. The
applicants wish to continue the Planning Commission to January 4, 2022 and the Board of County
Commissioners to January 26, 2022. The request is due to the applicant not notifying mineral
owners within the required thirty (30) day notice.

Thank you for your email. I just received a message back from Cyndi that no notification was sent by her office.
