Subject: Hazardous Waste Building- Ventilation Hoods Design (2019-2250)
Robert Shreve Architects and Planners (RSAP) was awarded the bid design the Wash Bay and Welding
shop building and subsequent on -call design work. The is a need to design a new ventilation hood system
at the Hazardous Waste Building. The design fee for this project has been quoted at $8,000.00 using the
fees identified in their bid. Therefore, the Facilities Department is recommending approving this task
order in amount of $8,000.00

WELD COUNTY AND ROBERT SHREVE ARCHITECTS & PLANNERS
Date: March 31, 2022
Project Title: Hazardous Waste Building/ Ventilation Hoods Design
Completion Date: May 31, 2022
Compensation: $8,000.00
Original Agreement: Weld County document no. 2019-2250
Pursuant to the "Original Agreement", the Parties may agree to additional work to be provided
by Contractor pursuant to an appropriately executed Task Order, which shall be negotiated
between the Parties on an as -needed basis. Any such Task Order shall be signed by the Weld
County Facilities Director before it shall be effective. In no event shall the total of all Task Orders
exceed $25,000 in any calendar year, unless first approved by the Board of County
Commissioners. Any appropriately executed Task Order shall be automatically incorporated
herein and enforceable.
Scope of Task Order:
The scope of work for the Hazardous Waste Building is to prepare architectural plans and
specifications for the purchase and installation of new ventilation hoods.
Contractor agrees to perform the services identified above and on the attached Exhibit in
accordance with the terms and conditions contained herein and in the Original Agreement
between the parties.
The amount of the contract is adjusted as follows:

Re: Design of New Ventilations Hood
Hazardous Waste Building
Dear Toby,
Last week G2's David Smith and David Mannering toured the Hazardous Waste Building
and as you aware thy found the conditions in the waste disposal area need to be
upgraded.
We will prepare plans and specifications for in purchase and installation of new hoods.
The team members that participated in the preparation of construction documents will be
G2 for the hood design and specifications and RSAP for the project management and
architectural design necessary for the installation of the hood or hoods in the building.
For the design services outlined previously we propose a "Lump -Sum Fee" of $8,000.00.
