WHEREAS, heretofore and on July 2, 1969, by Resolution, the
Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, did authorize
the execution of a sanitary land fill contract and agreement with WELD
COUNTY LANDFILL, INC. , whereby Weld County Landfill, Inc. agreed
to provide and operate certain dumps in Weld County, Colorado, and
November
WHEREAS, heretofore, and on eefrober 3rd , 1971, by Reso-
lution, the Board did authorize the execution of an amendment to the
aforementioned sanitary land fill contract in accordance with all terms
and conditions contained therein and made a part thereof, and
WHEREAS, now Weld County Landifill, Inc. has submitted a second
amendment to the aforementioned sanitary land fill contract providing for
new dump fees and marked Exhibit "A" for ready reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that it would be in the best in-
terest of the County to accept the second amendment , marked Exhibit "A",
as submitted and as it amends the aforementioned sanitary land fill con-
tract and agreement of July 2, 1969, all as contained therein and made a
part thereof by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the second amendment to
the sanitary land fill contract of July 2, 1969, hereinabove mentioned and
made a part hereof by reference be accepted and the same hereby is ordered
to be made a part of the sanitary land fill contract hereinabove mentioned
and entered into between Weld County, Colorado and WELD COUNTY
LANDFILL, INC,
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of June, A.D. ,
1974.

EXHIBIT "A"
SECOND AMENDMENT TO SANITARY LANDFILL CONTRACT
THIS AMENDMENT, made to that certain SANITARY LANDFILL
CONTRACT dated July 2, 1969, by and between WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
and WELD COUNTY LANDFILL, INC. ,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, heretofore pursuant to resolution by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, the parties hereto did enter into
a Sanitary Landfill Contract dated July 2, 1969, and
WHEREAS, in the course of operating the landfills and/or dumps since
the date of the contract, WELD COUNTY LANDFILL, INC. , deems it nec-
essary to revise its dump fee schedule, all as hereinafter shown and con-
tained in its new dump fees schedule, to-wit:
NEW DUMP FEES: Effective July 1, 1974
EACH DUMPING
Small amounts brought in cars . 75
Station Wagons (Small Amounts) 1. 25
Pickup Trucks (Minimum Charge) 2. 50
Beet bed-type trucks 8 ' x 16 ' (Minimum Charge) --- 4 . 00
Compactor-Disposal trucks; per cubic yard . 75
Roll-offs; per cubic yard . 75
All Appliances, Water Heaters, Old Furniture, etc: each 1. 50
Liquid Waste: per gallon . 01
No Part Loads (1, 000-gallon tanks $10. 00)
(1, 500-gallon tanks $15. 00)
Trees: Up to 6-inches in diameter; per load Up to 7. 00
6-inches and larger in diameter; per load Up to 9. 00
Car Bodies or Old Automobiles; each 5. 00
Dead Animals: Sheep or equivalent 1. 00
Cows or Horses 5. 00
Yearlings 2. 50
There is an extra charge for tires, wire, twine, banding material, etc.
as these items are difficult to dispose of and may be damaging to the
equipment. . . (This is the reason appliances, etc. are charged individually).
ANY MATERIAL REQUIRING SPECIAL COVER (IMMEDIATE DISPOSAL)
REQUIRES AN EXTRA CHARGE AS THE EQUIPMENT HAS TO BE TAKEN
AWAY FROM NORMAL DUTIES TO DO THIS.
The above costs for Trucks, Pickup Trucks, and Station Wagons will be
adjusted according to how much trash is in the vehicle:
FOR EXAMPLE: If a Pickup has only as much as can normally be
placed in a car or station wagon, then only a car
or station wagon prices is charged. . . OR
If a Truck has only as much trash as can normally
be placed in a Pickup, etc. , then only a pickup price
is charged.
Please Note: AN INDIVIDUAL LOAD MAY VARY IN SIZE AND CONTENT
EACH TIME (ESPECIALLY PICKUP AND TRUCK LOADS)
. THERE MAY BE MORE OR LESS TRASH THAN THE
LAST TIME , , , OR POSSIBLY SOMETHING THAT REQUIRES
AN EXTRA CHARGE: THEREFORE, THE COST WILL VARY
ALSO!
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this instrument

trash to the Greeley sanitary landfill and at this time
still have not received it. Weld County also wishes
to be advised of any fee changes .

charged. This applies to trucks also.
FLEA.E NOTE: An individuals load may vary in size and content each
time, (especially pickup and truck loads) - - There
may be more, or there may be less trash than brought
the last time ; or possibly something that requires an
extra charge. Therefore, the cost for dumping will
vary also.
