Home My WebLink About730992.tiff /v i • SCOTT'S ACRES SUBDIVISION ADD ROAD TO COUNTY SYSTEM PART OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER (NE4) OF SECTION 9, TOWNSHIP 1 NORTH, RANGE 68 WEST WHEREAS, the County Public Works Director has investigated the road within the Scott's Acres Subdivision, being a part of the Northeast Quarter (NE4) of Section 9, Township 1 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, .and has recommended that said roads be accepted for County maintenance; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the streets within the boundary of the Scott's Acres Subdivision as approved by resolution dated; May 14, 1969, be and the same is hereby accepted for maintenance; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said roads be added to the Weld County Road System. My reccommendation was for acceptance. Mr. Horst has reviewed the subdivision and agrees with my reccommendation. He did mention to me that there was one small drainage problem, but it was on a driveway and can be helped with a driveway culvert. I will personally see that this is accomplished. Ewi g • 3765 South Jersey Denver, Colo. $0237 15 December 1972 Weld County Road Commissioners Greeley, Colorado $0631 Gentlemen : Two and a half years ago I completed a road of about 1, 500 feet in Scott 's Acres , a sub-division near Erie , and at that time asked for final acceptance in order to obtain maintenance on the road. I received a letter of provisional acceptance for the completed portion of the road but not for an uncompleted "350 foot dead-end road. This 350' road was completed in January, 1971, and a request was made for final acceptance at that time . However, as I was told , I sent this letter to the wrong office. In October of this year I again asked for final acceptance and approval in order to obtain maintenance . Rs yet I have not heard from your office nor has maintenance been performed . I know what you are talking about as I saw them a week ago. Actually it dowan't hurt the road any because the rock is still there but the road grader showuld come along. One should write to bar. Byron Ewing, County Engineer of geld County, Greeley 80631, and tell him it is the West-East Cul-de-sac road in Scotts Acres. The county had delayed maintenance on the roads because I had not completed 350 feet of road on the south end but that was completed in April. Scotts Acres is another story. The subdivision roads were not built as platted and, therefore, I cannot recommend acceptance at this time.
