WHEREAS, Don Sandoval enjoyed a 37+ year career as Regional Manager for the Colorado Department of Local Affairs before retiring
from that position and agreeing to assist Weld County in setting up our Community Development Block Grant program; and
WHEREAS, under his guidance, relationships and professional leadership, Don met with and stewarded 25 MOUs with Weld County
communities to make the CDBG program a reality to benefit residents county -wide; and
WHEREAS, under his management the Weld County CDBG program was organized and formalized and is now entering its third year
of working with local governments to make needed improvements in their communities; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Weld County Commissioners wishes to recognize your dedicated. service to Weld Count y and its citizens.
