RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO EXTENSION ADVISORY
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist, and terms for certain positions on the Extension
Advisory Council will soon expire, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to appoint
Mike Schwan as Family and Consumer Science Representative, and Rick Bowen as the At -Large
Representative, to said board, with terms to expire February 1, 2025, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Sean Short as Master Gardener/Horticulture Representative, and Joshua Docheff as Livestock
Representative, to said board, with terms to expire February 1, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Mike Schwan and Rick Bowen be, and hereby are, appointed, and that
Sean Short and Joshua Docheff be, and hereby are, reappointed to the Extension Advisory
Council, all with terms to expire February 1, 2025.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of February, A.D., 2022.
