Gentlemen: •

Responding to the questions that were raised during our meeting of
December 3, 1971. This is verification of the telephone conversations
of December 10th.
The following are the answers to the questions :
1. The composite film positive of Item A. 3 . a of the General
Conditions is required with a resonable degree of accuracy.
It is to be used as a guide in locating objects , using the
topographic overlay with the Mosaic . Planimetric details
will be of significant features , drainage , ditches and other
related characteristics of drainage.
2 . The cross-sectional information of Item A.3 .b of the General •
Conditions is required, a digitizer is necessary to be used
with the plotting instrument . The Corps of Engineers will
furnish a format to the Contractor so that the information
will be presented in tabular form.
3 . Reference made to Item B.4. a of the Special Conditions .
1/40th will be allowed, for 10% of the points tested, of
an inch measured on the publication scale.
4. A pencil manuscript of the Topographic Map is acceptable .
