The relevant language is reproduced below. 82.0. End of Term Extension If this Contract approaches the end of its Initial Term, or any Extension Term then in place, the State, at its discretion, upon written notice to Contractor as provided in 815, may unilaterally extend such Initial Term or Extension Term for a period not to exceed two months (an "End of Term Extension"), regardless of whether additional Extension Terms are available or not. The provisions of this Contract in effect when such notice is given shall remain in effect during the End of Term Extension. The End of Term Extension shall automatically terminate upon execution of a replacement contract or modification extending the total term of this Contract. We are enacting this provision to allow work to continue under the existing Contract. This End of Term Extension is being executed for a period not to exceed two months, effective July 1, 2022 through August 31, 2022, for an amount not to exceed $39,770.12.
