The Fleet Services Department has received information from Greiner Ford of Casper that Ford
can no longer build the two -ton crew cab 4X4 with eleven -foot utility bed for Bid #82200027. The
factory has canceled all remaining 2022 orders citing supply chain issues. The purchase order for
this vehicle was issued by the Purchasing Department on 01/31/2022 (P2200099) in the amount
of $73,920.00.
This was discussed at a work session on 11/08/22. Fleet Services recommends rescinding this bid
and that the purchase order be canceled. We will proceed with state bid or other government
competitive pricing to supply this vehicle.

The Fleet Services Department and Public Works have reviewed all bids that were
received and recommends awarding the bid to Greiner Ford of Casper, as they are the lowest
bidder that meets all specifications. The bid is for a 2023 Ford F-550 with an 11ft bed. The cost
is $73,920.00 each for a total of $73,920.00.
