Weld County is pleased to support the North Front Range Metropolitan Planning Organization (NFRMPO)
Strategic Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Seed Funding Grant application from the Colorado
Department of Transportation (CDOT) Office of Innovative Mobility (OIM) for the formation of a US 34
Transportation Management Organization (TMO).
This grant will greatly benefit the U.S. 34 corridor with integral seed funding to assist with the creation of
the first ever northern Colorado TMO. This effort will improve the regional coordination of the U.S. 34
communities extending beyond the NFRMPO into the Upper Front Range Transportation Planning Region
(UFRTPR). These partner agencies include, but are not limited to, Kersey, Evans, Greeley, Johnstown,
Windsor, Loveland, Larimer County, Weld County, Estes Park, Milliken and CDOT.
This corridor has a great history of collaboration and partnership, and therefore, Weld County is excited to
support this grant application by committing $3,125 local match dollars towards a successful grant award.
We hope CDOT also sees the intrinsic value of supporting this application by prioritizing this grant funding
for northern Colorado to form our first ever TMO to promote and advocate for TDM strategies along the
U.S. 34 corridor. Thank you for your consideration.
