Attached is a bid tabulation and supporting documents for the 2022 Steel Bid. The recommendations for
award per category are as follows.
Corrugated Metal Pipe
Recommend the low bid submitted by Big R Holdings for both round and arch pipe be approved and awarded.
We recommend purchasing corrugated metal pipe for unexpected special projects from DBE Manufacturing as
they are located in Greeley and are the only other vendor that bid on this product. We further recommend
purchasing from DBE Manufacturing if supply chain issues arise with Big R Holdings.
Corrugated Plastic Pipe
Recommend the sole bid submitted by DBE Manufacturing for plastic pipe be approved and awarded.
MISCELLANEOUS STEEL PRODUCTS/FENCING
Beam Sections (Stringers). Steel Piling. Steel Angles. Black Pipe and Tubing. Flat Plate and Channel Iron
Due to extremely fluctuating prices for heavy steel product, these items were not included in the 2022 steel bid.
Fabricated Guard Rail Posts, Guard Rail, Guard Rail Ends, Curved Guard Rail Sections, Tubular Guard Rail
Recommend the low bid submitted by DBE Manufacturing and Supply be approved and awarded for all guard
rail products.
Sheet Piling
Recommend the sole bid submitted by Contech Engineered Solution be approved and awarded.
Steel Bridge Deck
Recommend the sole bid submitted by Contech Engineered Solution be approved and awarded.
#4 Rebar
Recommend the low bid submitted by DBE Manufacturing be approved and awarded.
Steel Fence Posts
Recommend the low bid from DBE Manufacturing and Supply be approved and awarded.
Fencing, Straw Wattles, Erosion Blankets, Waterproofing Material
