SUBJECT: Bid #82200003, Midsized Passenger Vans (Qty 3)

The Fleet Services Department has received information from Greiner Ford of Casper that Ford
can no longer build the vans for Bid #B2200003 at the original bid price. The price of each van
has increased from $28,389.00 to $33,434.00 resulting in an increase of $15,135.00, for a new
PO total of $100,302.00. The purchase order for these vehicles was issued by the Purchasing
Department on 01/31/2022 (P2200081).
This was discussed at a work session on 09/13/22. Fleet Services recommends rescinding this bid
and cancelling the purchase order. Fleet Services would like to pursue the state bid, which is less
than Greiner Ford's updated bid price.

The Fleet Services Department has reviewed all bids that were received and
recommends awarding the bid to Greiner Ford of Casper, as they are the lowest bidder that
meets all specifications. The bid is for three 2023 Ford Transit Connect. The cost is $28,389.00
each for a total of $85,167.00.
